Some real...What a wonderful tribute to your family. Some really amazing stories. <br /><br />My dad fought in the French-Algerian War in the early 1960s. He never talks about it either, but he did mention that he knows what it's like to kill a man (and that's scary/sad to think about !). <br /><br />My grandpa was too young for WWII, but all four of his brothers fought there, one never coming home. We visited the place he died in France when we all went together 9 years ago.
